Tip #2: Download the Hong Kong Disneyland App
Hong Kong Disneyland has a free app available called Hong Kong Disneyland app. This app is full of helpful features that will ensure your Hong Kong Disneyland experience goes smoothly.
The app will act as your ultimate guide on the day; it will help you find the best places to eat, showtimes, waiting times of each attraction, Hong Kong Disneyland tips and tricks, Hong Kong Disneyland hours of operation, and Hong Kong Disneyland deals. You will even be able to use this app to view the Hong Kong Disneyland map (they don’t give out paper maps).
Tip #3: Buy priority ticketing
If you want to maximize fun at Hong Kong Disneyland, be sure to use the fast pass. You can either purchase the “Priority Special” or the “Priority Special+” Attraction Admission Pass. These passes will give you fast access to a set number of rides.
Hong Kong Disneyland has a limited number of these passes available for each day, so make sure you get it early.

You might be surprised at how many people go to Disneyland in the afternoon (so that they can enjoy the night shows and the fireworks), so enjoy the peace and quiet in the morning!
The last time I went to Disneyland, it didn’t start getting really crowded until well after lunch and when I left around 3 pm I was amazed to see how many people were entering the park.
Hong Kong Disneyland opens at either 10:00 am or 10:30 am in the morning, so be sure to check the opening hours for the day of your trip and get there early to take advantage of having few people around.
Tip #5: Consider the weather
Hong Kong Disneyland is a relatively large park which means you will be walking a lot! Even getting to the ticket entrance takes some walking.
The last time I went to Disneyland, I ended up walking 12,000 steps. So, it’s important to check the Hong Kong Disneyland weather before you go. Will it be too hot for your little ones to be walking around? Will it be raining? Should you wait till the weather cools?
I personally love going to Hong Kong Disneyland in December and I LOATHE going during the summer months.
No matter your preference, checking the weather will help you pack accordingly and make sure that you’re well prepared! Not being well prepared for the weather could end up really ruining your day at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Tip #6: Take a Ride on Mystic Manor
Mystic Manor is one of Hong Kong Disneyland’s most popular rides, and it’s easy to see why. This is not a typical haunted house and instead, it has a light-hearted fantasy-based theme.
This ride is a dark ride that takes guests through the adventures of Lord Henry Mystic and his monkey friend, Albert. Mystic Manor is full of special effects and surprises, making it an exciting experience for all who ride it.

Tip #10: The Lion King Show is the Best Disney Show
Everyone will have their own opinion, but I personally wouldn’t bother about seeing “Mickey and the Wonderous Book” or “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration”, they just don’t come across as professional or have a story as good as “Festival of the Lion King”
I have seen the “Festival of The Lion King” show multiple times and I never tire of it – the quality of singing, dancing is amazing! In my option, this is the BEST Disneyland show.
